That is the driving force Melbourne Victory is taking into the upcoming season and the overall message in its official 2022/23 campaign launch tonight.
Inspired by Tony Popovic’s post-match speech, following the team’s Semi-Final defeat last season, the campaign highlights the Club’s aspirations to reach greater heights than ever before, on and off the pitch.
Victory has been working hard in the pre-season aspiring for more trophies, more wins, more goals, more members, more fans, more atmosphere, more passion, more moments and more memories.
Following a season which saw Victory’s women become back-to-back Champions and our men earn Cup glory,We Want More showcases the drive and determination of the Club to always strive for success.
As a founding A-Leagues Club, the campaign honours the heroes and glories of the past, inspiring today’s stars to create history of their own.
Jake Brimmer, Josh Brillante, Nick D’Agostino, Kayla Morrison, Lia Privitelli, Roderick Miranda, Chris Ikonomidis, and Luis Nani feature in the campaign, aiming to replicate and exceed the feats of those who preceded them.
Voiced by Victory legend Carl Valeri, featuring Popovic’s handwriting and set at Victory's spiritual home, AAMI Park, the Club urges ‘all Victorians together’ to get behind the movement ‘under one banner’ in what is a significant year for football.
At Melbourne Victory, We Want More.
