Member Working Group - Mark W

Mark grew up in the UK before making Australia home and has been a Melbourne Victory supporter and member for the past four years with his children actively involved in football, the game has become a big part of family life both on and off the pitch.

Away from football, he has spent more than 20 years working across the plumbing and construction industries and currently works in project management. His career has involved leading teams, managing major projects and working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, which has built a strong appreciation for communication, collaboration and making sure people feel heard.

Outside of work and football, family is a major part of his life. He enjoys travelling around Australia, spending time with the family and making the most of opportunities to experience new places and different parts of the country.

A strong believer that members should have a genuine voice within the club, he joined the Member Working Group to help strengthen the connection between Melbourne Victory and its supporters.

He is particularly interested in improving communication, enhancing the matchday experience and making sure the views of members from different backgrounds and areas of the stadium are represented.

This is his first season as part of the Member Working Group, and he is looking forward to contributing, listening to fellow members and helping build an even stronger supporter experience at Melbourne Victory.
